The story of Spring Lake Farm begins with a family devoted to community and the land. From 1962 to 1987, the Waites family operated Spring Lake, a cherished public swimming destination complete with picnic pavilions, bonfires, and the hamburgers still fondly remembered by locals. It was more than a place to cool off on hot summer days—it was the heart of the community.

In 1988, the family opened Helen’s Plants, a greenhouse nursery that continues to thrive today under the care of Linda Waites. With decades of experience in hospitality, growth, and care for the land, the Waites family now carries this legacy forward with Spring Lake Farm. The venue is a new chapter in a long tradition—an open space where music, gatherings, and the beauty of nature create unforgettable experiences.

In 2025, Linda Waites joined forces with Kenny and Michele Hoff to bring new life to Spring Lake Farm, transforming it into a community-driven venue where music, art, and nature converge. Linda carries forward her family’s legacy of Spring Lake, a beloved swimming destination from the 1960s through the ’80s, and later the home of Helen’s Plants nursery, which she continues to run with care.

Kenny and Michele Hoff bring more than 30 years of experience in crafting unforgettable events. In their early days, they made history at their legendary Arrow Head Ranch, hosting iconic bands like Phish, Blues Traveler, and Widespread Panic. Beyond music, they’ve showcased their one-of-a-kind artwork at art festivals from Palm Springs to Boca Raton, blending creativity and community in every project.

Together, the Waites and the Hoffs are shaping Spring Lake Farm into a place where families, friends, and music lovers can gather to create lasting memories. It’s more than a venue, it’s a continuation of tradition, artistry, and celebration.
